Intermediate Municipal Engineer

Due to our recent growth and expansion, our company is actively seeking an Intermediate Municipal Engineer in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

We are an employee-owned and operated engineering consulting company with offices and laboratories throughout Ontario and Atlantic Canada. We provide professional scientific and engineering consulting services to a wide variety of clients throughout Canada. As such, we strive to have employees that are multi-faceted with several desirable skills.

We are looking for the ideal candidate that will fit within the culture of our organization. The successful candidate will support all of our Atlantic locations, and will be traveling as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Currently registered, or has the ability to register, with Engineers New Brunswick as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
• Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in civil engineering consulting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will work in several areas of civil engineering, including: municipal, civil design, transportation, water, sanitary and storm water design, surveying, and project management.
• Project management.
• Preparation of contract specifications, tender documents, and engineering drawings.
• Assist in field operations as required.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D.
