Hourly Wage: $18/hour

Mitrex, an Integrated solar and construction solution provider, is looking for an visual designer student to visualize our building designs and communicate the brand’s core message through their arts.

We are Mitrex Inc., a purpose-based developer and manufacturer of Integrated Photovoltaic Systems (such as BIPV) for buildings and large structures. As the world's first manufacturer to develop customizable "solar" solutions that are price-competitive with traditional cladding panels, we are on the verge of revolutionizing the industry, while helping to move the world toward clean, sustainable energy production.

Competencies and Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree from a university/college in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation or a related discipline, and maintaining an average of 3.0 GPA
• Enrolled in a university/college for the school term 2021-2022
• Experience in Adobe CS (specifically in Photoshop, XD, Illustrator) is an asset
• Experience with AR/VR/MR is an asset
• Must be able to adapt, think quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be proficient in Microsoft suite
• Knowledge of Mac OS is an asset

Responsibilities

• Design and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
• Assist in the conceptualization, creative strategy and process for projects
• Complete assigned tasks throughout all stages of the design and production process in a timely manner
• Modify animations based on artistic or technical feedback
• Work in close collaboration with the marketing team
• Create and retouch assets and materials in alignment with the brand for use in web-based, real-time applications, and photo-realistic renderings
