Digital Print Press Operator

We are actively seeking a versatile, energetic, person to join our Digital Label production team. Someone who has completed a graphics art program or experience in Adobe would be preferred but not required. Full time days Benefits and competitive wages

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operation of Xeikon digital Ink Jet and Dry toner colour printing presses or other
• Perform their duties with little supervision
• Responsible for Quality assurance of customer product.
• Troubleshoot problems to maintain quality standards and to keep press equipment in running condition - request maintenance as required
• Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimum operation
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 to 3 years digital press experience preferred
• Graphics art program certificate or Adobe experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift large items as some heavy lifting will be required
• Ability to work occasional overtime shifts
• Ability to commute/relocate
