We're hiring for a Part-time Automotive Claims Administrator at our Brampton Office.
Part-time Position – 25 Hours/Week
Workdays: Tuesdays, Wednesday, & Thursdays (On-site)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the claims department in organization and documentation of claim files.
  • Act as first point of contact with clients regarding claims and educate clients on the process.
  • Communicate directly with clients and handling of claim inquiries.
  • Provide updates and status of claims to clients, as needed.
  • Review accuracy of invoices from vendors.
  • Coordinate with repair facilities for estimates, invoices, and repair updates.
  • Create and submit invoices to insurance companies, corporate accounts and retail clients.
  • Liaison with insurance companies and credit card companies regarding status of claim files and documentation required.
  • Track individual claim files from opening to closing, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
  • Communication with branches to gather required information.
  • Assist in building reports related to claims status and payments.
  • Perform accounts receivable communications through emails and calls in relation to invoice collection.
  • Integral role in the collection of file payments.
  • Process and posting of claim payments.
  • Resolve any issue or disputes related to claim files.
  • Coordinate with other departments and branches as needed to ensure claims are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage the claims department email inbox.
  • Provide support to the claims team with various tasks as needed.


Ideal Candidate:
  • Post secondary education – preferred.
  • Minimum 2-years of automotive claims experience in an insurance industry environment or similar.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft suite; Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • The ability to process claim files and deliver a superior customer service experience.
  • Excellent ability to plan priorities and are highly organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate clear written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and effective problem solver with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Positive attitude.
