Chemical Engineer

Mitrex, an Integrated solar and construction solution provider, is looking for a Chemical Engineer who has strong skills in creating, improving, and testing systems and products. You must have problem-solving skills and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment. As part of our R&D team, you will have the opportunity to be part of the production of building-integrated solar modules.

COMPETENCIES 

• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Knowledge of photonics
• Experience working with laminates and encapsulants including silicon, EVA and other epoxies.
• Knowledge of glass handling and fabrication equipment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
• Experience in leading complex projects that require strong leadership and initiative
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Preparing and testing photovoltaic samples
• Optimization of optical transmittance of glass, coating, print on glass, etc.
• Literature review of new research and updates in the field
• Reading and implementing standards of solar modules and associated applications
• Testing and improving existing products
• Developing and optimizing production recipes including lamination
• Optimizing adhesion and bonding
• Other duties as required
