Pay Rate:

Security Management

We are licensed by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services to provide uniformed security guard and investigations services in the Province of Ontario. We are a member of the Canadian Society of Industrial Security (CSIS) and the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).

Security Management Systems was founded in 1991. We recognized and responded to our clients needs for a reliable "one stop shopping" source for Electronic Security Systems in addition to Guard Service. We started by supplying, installing and repairing CCTV equipment, including cameras, monitors and VCR's. This quickly expanded to a wide range of products that included Keyless Entry, Telephone Entry, Alarm Systems, Automatic Door Operators, Sliding Doors, Barrier Gates, Magnetic Door Locks, Electric Door Strikes, Lock Hardware, Fire Alarm Monitoring Services and Customized Security systems. We are members of the Canadian Security Association (CANASA) and certified by Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (ULC) to provide Fire Monitoring services to our clients.

We currently employ several hundred persons, including security officers, supervisors, technicians, managers and others. We provide permanent Guard Services and other related services for numerous condominiums, apartments, commercial buildings, hotels, distribution centers, etc.. We also supply, install and maintain electronic systems for hundreds of buildings in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In 2005, after many years of renting office space, we purchased our own building and moved into our new corporate headquarters located in the Beaches area of Toronto.
