Business Process Owner

We are hiring for a Business Process Officer, who will be responsible for the proper development and compliance of supply chain processes (customer service, transport logistics, purchasing, demand planning, and operations) and their global deployment and adoption across all branches. The BPO is an expert dedicated to reviewing and improving the various processes in the field. The BPO knows how to manage change in a positive way and in various contexts: different maturity levels, diversity of teams, acquisitions, new processes, new tools, etc. They communicate effectively with the current or future managers of the process, who are the stakeholders or beneficiaries (clients) of the process. They collaborate with the company’s IT Department and external suppliers to deliver appropriate and effective technological solutions for the assigned business segment.

 

Job Duties

  • Define the vision, mission, objectives, goals, performance indicators, and essential measures associated with the practices and methods of the business segment
  • Perform business process mapping and producing the necessary documentation
  • Ensure the deployment of business processes and improvements across all subsidiaries and future acquisitions, while taking into account the realities specific to each
  • Synchronize the improvement plans with those of the other business segments
  • Develop specifications that turn the company’s needs into functional requirements
  • Manage the integration of upgrades and new functionalities within existing systems or by implementing new tools
  • Work in close partnership with IT teams to ensure that user’s needs and functional requirements are well understood and addressed
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and training with teams as required for each project
  • Establish and maintaining constructive relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Identify the capabilities required to support business processes and collaborating in the development of information management strategies

 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, certificate in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification an asset

 

Competencies

  • Excellent understanding of the processes related to the supply chain (customer service, transport logistics, purchasing, demand planning, and operations) including their positioning in a global perspective
  • Expertise in the functionalities of ERP systems
  • Experience in a project team context, and knowledge of project management principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual in French an asset
